    When I was growing up, my Mom made soups a lot. They were always good, but sometimes they would be magnificent. What made the difference you ask… dumplings! On special occasions, or when we just were being extra sweet, Mom made her special Lentil Vegetable Soup with Dumplings. Now, granted, as kids we might have not been so thrilled eating lentils and vegetables, but throw some dumplings in there and we were sold. I think just about every soup and stew can benefit from the addition of some light, tasty dumplings in the mix. If you’ve heard horror stories about how hard they are to make, don’t believe it. These dumplings are easy to mix up and once you get your timing down, you’ll be fine. Surprise your family tonight and treat them to dumplings in their soup.
